This is a re-cladding project, this house used to be plaster cladding with no cavity system. Now days more and more plaster house come out with leaking problem, and this house is just one of them.
Because this is a large house, we suggested the owner to have a minor unit downstairs with 2 bed rooms, kitchen and living room. This is not a simple garage to bed room alteration, we managed to keep double garage and have the minor unit with reasonable space. After the construction, owner now has their own space plus a legal home and income. The value of the house has increased more than expectation.
