In CAD we believe every design should be unique to meet our clients’ need. During design phase we will take clients through few steps to make sure the requirements areachieved.
We check relevant development controls of the site and prepare preliminary analysis to help client with project feasibility.
Investigating the space and site Form a best architectural solution based on clients’ brief and present them with drawings and 3d concept image.
Describe the preferred concept withscaled plans and elevations. preliminary cost estimate can be form by quantity surveyor at this stage, and a resource consent may be applied for (if required).
After a concept is agreed upon, details and final design will be refined at this stage. Final decisions are made so that all parties completely understand and are at ease with the design before starting the detailed documentation. At the conclusion of Developed Design, the building is sufficiently defined to give a clear understanding of the scope of work, costs and the architectural look and feel.
Generate detail drawings and specifications for building consent application. This will include construction details, materials, components, systems and finishes.
Manage the contractual and financial transactions during the construction of building. Projects do change and there are sometimes unforeseen elements that may require contractual consideration – we can help with such developments.
We will be overseeing the construction phase of your project with onsite visits and monitoring the construction contracts that are in place.
When the main contractor advises the project is practically complete, we can assess the construction and provide a detailed list of remaining work. Collect all trade warranties from the main contractor and will secure a Code Compliance Certificate for you. At this point in the project, We will also help administer final payments to contractors and issue the main contractor with a Defects Liability Certificate.
